Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj has gained an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to supply fuel pump systems for 15 new build dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

The 30 deepwell fuel pumps shall be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is certainly one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders thus far. It can also be the second LNG gas pump techniques order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj in the final yr. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to offer deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled gross sales of its patented deepwell fuel pumps in 2021, and says there are many indications that sales may increase even further in 2022.
