Armstrong helps clients reduce greenhouse fuel emissions

The 2018 initiative by the corporate has resulted in it helping its clients save 2.5 billion kWh of electrical energy utilization, resulting in more than US$300 million in value financial savings. Achieving this aim is the equivalent of taking 600,000 cars off the road for a 12 months or offsetting the typical annual CO2 emissions generated by one hundred,000 folks.
Todd Rief, Armstrong CEO, said that since 2018, the corporate has labored collaboratively with customers and partners to implement its Design Envelope expertise in constructing mechanical vegetation, worldwide. He added that the application of this expertise converts existing and new installations into ultra-efficient and sustainable techniques.
Rief continued: “We have now boosted Design Envelope Technology with our progressive Active Performance Management structure. This 3-layer architecture adds the facility of Digital Twins, Edge and Cloud computing to intelligent Design Envelope equipment. The utility of Active Performance Management brings efficiency resilience and transparency to system design and operations. All this while using predictive upkeep to preserve building efficiency without adding price.”

He added that the company recognises the work on this area is not yet done. Buildings worldwide continue to be a variety of the biggest contributors of GHG. “Through our core competencies of Fluid Flow, Energy Transfer, Demand Based Control and Digitalization, we goal to bring a step change to the efficiency of buildings via their whole lifecycle.”
