Atlas Copco to accumulate Wangen Pumpen

Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the German industrial pump producer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from non-public fairness agency Silverfleet Capital.

Headquartered in Wangen in the Allgäu area of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used mainly in the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for meals and beverage and cosmetics purposes.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing facilities in Germany, a US subsidiary and a global sales and repair footprint. The company employs 265 people and had 2020 revenues of roughly €46.four million.
